Quick answers to common questions about dynamic QR codes, Designer options, plan limits, analytics, security, and integrations.
Can I change where a QR code goes after it has been printed?
Yes, when it is a dynamic QR code. Edit the Destination URL and the permanent tracking QR remains the same.
Does changing the QR design change the destination?
No. Design settings and the dynamic destination are stored separately.
Why does a Direct URL QR have no scan analytics?
Direct mode encodes the source URL directly instead of sending scans through the qr-codes.biz tracking redirect.
What counts toward my QR limit?
Active tracked dynamic QR codes count. Inactive QR codes are reported separately.
Do inactive Forms count against my plan?
No. Only active Fluent Forms count toward the active Forms allowance.
Do draft Pages count against my Page limit?
No. Published Pages count as active; drafts and other inactive statuses are shown separately.
Why can’t I activate another Form?
Your active Form allowance may be reached. The Forms screen shows active usage against the plan limit.
Can my plan disable Forms or Pages completely?
Yes. A configured limit of 0 disables that feature and can hide it from the customer navigation.
Why are some analytics ranges disabled?
The selected plan controls analytics retention. Longer ranges can appear as upgrade teasers but cannot be selected.
What is Saved Design History?
Each Save QR Design can store a complete Designer configuration. The number retained per QR is controlled by the plan and may be overridden by an administrator.
Can I save a QR directly to the Media Library?
Yes. Use Save PNG to Media Library in the Designer Download panel.
Can I download SVG?
Yes. The Designer includes Download SVG. Artistic image modes are described as PNG-only and should be scan-tested.
Can I use my logo in the QR?
Yes. Choose a custom center logo, use an uploaded business logo, or select a built-in/searchable icon.
What is the best error correction for a logo?
High (H) is the safest starting point when the center logo is larger or covers more modules.
What is the quiet zone?
It is the clear margin around the QR code. The Designer offers 2, 4, 6, or 8 modules.
Can I add text above or below a QR?
Yes. Top and Bottom CTA frames support text, images, both, or Rich HTML.
Can Rich HTML run JavaScript?
No. It is intended for safe formatted text rendered into the artwork. Scripts and executable HTML are removed.
Can I make the QR background transparent?
Yes. Enable Transparent background in Colors & Gradient.
Can I transfer scan history with an export?
No. QR export/import moves configuration and design settings, not scan/click history.
Can I enable two-factor authentication?
Yes. Account & Security preserves Wordfence Login Security / 2FA for the customer’s own account.
Can I install plugins or Fluent Forms add-ons?
No. Managed customer accounts do not receive plugin/theme/package installation or update access.
Can I add users to my customer site?
No. User-management capabilities are restricted on managed customer sites.
Can I use Stripe?
When Payments is included in the effective plan, Stripe/payment features are available through Fluent Forms.
Why don’t I see Bookings or CRM?
Those menu items are plan-gated. Bookings also requires FluentBooking to be available on the site.
What does 1/5 beside a sidebar item mean?
It means 1 active item is used out of a plan allowance of 5 for that resource.
